Terms & Conditions
Deposits: A Sweet Whim LLC requires a 50% initial non-refundable deposit to secure the order.
Final payment: Final payment is due 3 days before the order due date. A Sweet Whim LLC reserves the right to cancel the order if payment is late.
Equipment rental: The equipment must be returned within 72 hours of the event. The returned equipment is evaluated, and a refund of the deposit is based on the condition of the items.
Rush orders: Requests made one week before due date may be subject to rush order fees.
Changes: A Sweet Whim LLC will do it’s best to accommodate any changes that are made one week before the order due date. Please note - extra charges may apply to last-minute changes.
Cancellations: Cancelled orders will be refunded minus the deposit and any monies already spent on supplies. If a cancellation is requested after work has been started, there will be no refunds.
Force majeure: A Sweet Whim LLC has no liability for delays or failures in delivery resulting from any act or event out of our control.
Allergy warning: Baked goods may have come in contact with allergens. The Client is responsible for notifying A Sweet Whim LLC of guest’s potential allergy hazards when placing order.
Non-edibles: Cakes will occasionally include non-edible items on or in the cake. It is your responsibility to ensure they are removed before serving.
Cake design: A Sweet Whim LLC cannot duplicate an exact copy of another cake artist’s work but will ensure the look is similar.
Delivery & pick-up: Once an order is no longer in the care of A Sweet Whim LLC (delivered or picked up) the business shall take no responsibility for any damage caused.
Media: A Sweet Whim LLC reserves the right to use all photographs of the cake and desserts for advertising purposes.
